We just released a new version of Mahalo Follow, a Firefox browser extension, to help people quickly find high quality, trusted links within Google results.

If your search matches a Mahalo page, the Mahalo Top 7 for that search appears above the Google results to help you quickly find the seven best links for the search term. Follow also adds a flower icon next to each link in the Google results that is on a Mahalo page. Every link with a flower next to it has been vetted and approved by Mahalo Guides. You can scan for the flower icons to quickly find high quality, trusted links within Google results and avoid the malicious links within 1.3% of all Google searches.

Follow adds a flower for each Mahalo page a link appears on and displays a link to the Mahalo page. The number of flowers next to a link is a proxy for quality and trust. The more flowers a link has, the more trusted and important it is within Mahalo. The links to Mahalo pages can also help you discover great links and information related to your search.
