We launched Mahalo Social this morning to empower our users to collaborate with their friends and our Guides to create the best search results. Mahalo users now have profiles and can recommend links for Mahalo pages and search terms we haven’t written yet. We also launched Follow 2.0, which is available for Firefox and Internet Explorer and makes it even easier to recommend links to Mahalo.

Every user has a profile with stats on their participation (links accepted, recommended, and blocked). There are leaderboards for Links accepted and Links recommended.
